A Series Paper Sizes Common Uses

A series paper is the most widely used paper standard globally. A4 (210×297mm) is the standard for office printing; A3 is used for drawings and posters; A5 for notebooks and booklets.

The aspect ratio of A series paper is always 1:√2 (≈1:1.414). Folding an A4 sheet in half gives you two A5 sheets with the same proportions.
